Bring Back Our GirlsWe have been following the tragic capture of the 200+ Nigerian girls. Used as pawns for a terrorist group, these young women have been kidnapped and abused simply because they desired an education. Social media sites, politicians and celebrities have been fighting to bring back those girls – to restore them to their families and save their lives.

We hope and pray that will become a reality and these girls lives’ will be saved.

At GateWay of Hope, we work with women who have been captured by lies and kidnapped by negative inner voices. These are women who started life with passions, dreams and goals – women who were chosen by God to use their gifts of leadership, femininity and nurturing.

Yet, they have been terrorized by abuse, told that they could not serve and forced to “submit” to authority figures who wanted only to use them in a power struggle.

We want to see these incredible women restored, brought back fully to serve their families, their churches and their communities.

We work with these women to rediscover their passions, dreams and goals so that they can move forward in life and find those places of service God has for them.

We long to see women become all that God created them to be and to be freed from their primary captor – the enemy of our souls.

We do this work through four services: counseling, groups, coaching and prayer. We help these women work through the painful experiences of their past and set goals for a better future. We listen, pray, find resources and seek to model in our own lives what life looks like when women become whole again and live out of their passions.

So we join the chorus of voices crying out for the release of those precious Nigerian girls. We also pray for the more than 100,000 children who are enslaved each year in the sex trafficking business in the United States.

And we work, hope and pray for women to be released – to become all that God created them to be.
