Have you noticed the sizes of cups lately?

I’m an iced tea drinker – unsweetened. And I usually order the small size, because I know I’m going to refill it before I leave.

But lately, some of my favorite restaurants are handing me smaller cups. And although the cups are smaller, the price is more. Huh?

Now I know this is marketing and everybody is trying to make a buck when the bucks aren’t going as far as they used to.

But as the consumer, it frustrates me to pay more for less. And as a loyal customer, I figure they should actually reward me for returning to their establishment.

In fact, that’s one reason why I often stop at QT for my iced tea. I take in my previously-purchased cup, fill it and still get a discount.
