We believe it’s important for women to be life-long learners, so we have a library where GateWay women check out books. Many of our titles focus on the issues women face such as: grief, relationships and abuse. GW Library

Our volunteers, group leaders and staff also continue to learn by reading the words of incredible authors who have walked similar journeys and found hope and encouragement. Today, we’d like to review some of the books our GateWay women read.

“Captivating” by John & Stasi Eldredge – unveiling the mystery of a woman’s soul and finding that the desires of the heart tell us about the life God created us to live.

“Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers – a novel that retells the powerful story from the book of Hosea; God’s unconditional, redemptive, all-consuming love.

“The Power of a Praying Wife” by Stormie Omartian – a refreshing look at the power of prayer in marriage along with real-life illustrations.

“Keeping a Princess Heart” by Nicole Johnson – an insightful exploration into every woman’s deepest longing to be a princess in her heart.

“The Five Love Languages” by Gary Chapman – using the specific love languages to express attention and encouragement to your spouse and your children.

We also include one shelf in our library that is filled with the best-seller of all time: the Holy Bible. In its pages, our GateWay women find encouragement, unconditional love and the blueprints for healing.

Come visit GateWay and check out our library.
